Little Red Door Entertainment has been developing young talent since 2000. Owners Lorena Mena and Olivia Allen, both established actors, began by coaching children for auditions. Agencies all over the industry called upon them each time their talent had a challenging audition. These girls just have a knack for putting the child at ease with the material, bringing the child’s unique personality to the role and always giving them that special secret ingredient that make them stand out from the rest. From this experience, they built a following made up of kids, parents and talent agents that insisted they start an on-going acting class. This is how Little Red Door Entertainment came about. In 2004 Lorena and Olivia began teaching Commercial, Film and Television classes for children ages 5-17. They have assisted kids land roles on television shows such as Veronica Mars, Boston Legal, Side Order of Life, Rules of Engagement, Just Jordan, Ghost Whisperer, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, ER, The O.C., The Miracle of Dommatina for the Hallmark Channel to name a few. You can catch a Little Red Door student at any given moment on a national commercial. Some of them include Walmart, Cingular Wireless, AAA, Saturn, Charter Communications, Fallon Healthcare, Chevy, Sears, Home Depot, Pepsi, March of Dimes, Mervyn’s, Stackers for General Mills, 7Up and many more.

Without giving away their whole recipe, their technique involves encouraging the kids to bring their personality and individuality to every role. They insist on an environment that is high energy, positive and always safe for the child. Their extensive knowledge of the industry and experience auditioning gives them an edge on ensuring that the kids are prepared for each individual scenario that they are given.

Lorena and Olivia have a passion for working with children. They look forward to many more years of sharing their talents with the young actors of tomorrow.
