Little Red Door Entertainment has been developing young talent since 2000. Owners Lorena Mena and Olivia Allen, both established actors, began by coaching children for auditions. Agencies all over the industry called upon them each time their talent had a challenging audition. These ladies have a knack for putting the child at ease with the material, bringing the child’s unique personality to the role and always giving them that special secret ingredient that makes them stand out from the rest. From this experience, they built a following made up of kids, parents and talent agents that insisted they start an on-going acting class. This is how Little Red Door Entertainment came about. In 2004 Lorena and Olivia began teaching Commercial, Film and Television classes for children ages 5-17. Their students have landed series regulars and guest starring roles on television shows such as Single with Parents,Veronica Mars, Boston Legal, Side Order of Life, Rules of Engagement, Just Jordan, Ghost Whisperer, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, iCarly and Weeds, to name a few. At any given moment, you might catch a Little Red Door student on a national commercial. Some of them include Walmart, Cingular Wireless, AAA, Saturn, Target, General Mills, Charter Communications, Fallon Healthcare, Chevy, Sears, Home Depot, Pepsi, March of Dimes, Cool Whip, Zentase, McDonald’s, Wells Fargo, Kellog’s, Wendy’s and many more.

Without giving away their whole recipe, their technique involves encouraging the kids to bring their personality and individuality to every role. They insist on an environment that is high energy, positive and always safe for the child. Their extensive knowledge of the industry and experience auditioning gives them an edge on ensuring that the kids are prepared any scenario they may be given.

Lorena and Olivia have a passion for working with children. They look forward to many more years of sharing their talents with the young actors of tomorrow.
